The love and relationship for our coffee began in the mountains of Kenya in 2013, Our Managing director Steve Riley has developed and built up working relationships with local coffee farmers (Gibsons) over many visits to Kenya and academic research into weather the Fair trade bean had produced what it had promised to in terms of social and cost effective growth. Although we didn’t know it at the time, we had stumbled upon the best coffee bean region in the country (Nyeri) 2 hours north of Nairobi.
We have consequently begun, our coffee journey with Gibsons who specialise in the industry and are a community focused on quality, and we are happy to say that we have never looked back and will continue our relationship in the future. Our love for coffee stems from its magical power to connect people wherever you are in the world. Our main goal is only to improve this connection by sharing our vision and relationships with the people that are behind our product.
Succeeding nearly 55 years of experience and working with the green beans and also working with one of the United Kingdom leading importers we are very proud of our locating policies which aim to protect the land and the farmers who grow the beans are treated with respect and consideration.
